Carrot halwa the famous sweet is one of our fav. I love to have this warm with vanilla ice cream. I love combination of sweets (Yes.. that makes it double pleasure and also double calories..:P ). My pacchi make yummy carrot halwa with the red carrots. I love those carrots but since they are not available here I used the normal carrots. This sweet was not a very common one at our household. I did not know the recipe that my pacchi used but I remember her using milk to make it tastier. When I was browsing through recipes at Manasi's Acook@heart I found this and bookmarked it.
